I currently have a Limited Slip rear end but am looking into getting a lock-rite locker. Will I need to get an open carrier or will I be able to install the lock-rite into the POSI carrier?

Dont do it. Save your money and get a detroit. A bunch of Wheeling Friends and I have been the Lock Right rout all but one have gone detroit. Believe me save your $$ and get the detroit. Do it right the first time and learn from others mistakes.

You will have to change to a open carrier and the labor and expence to do that isnt worth it. if you have to change the carrier get a detroit locker. When you break the lockright you will be out far more money than doing it right the first time.
