well, that friend of mine came through after all, and i got my windshield visor! gonna spend some time and clean it up, if the chrome won't come out i'm just gonna shoot it black and install it.

yep, sticks out to the front. i'll have it installed in about an hour and have pics. the rust was too deep, i painted it black. it'll match the rest of my trim anyway.

nope, picked it up second hand. here's pics of it installed. i'm actually entertaining the thought of drilling a few holes in it and mounting a few more small lights up on it.

I see it has some louvres in it, but wouldnt it hold up alot of air on our already non-aerodynamic brick-looking iron? How about a pic from the inside looking out...it doesnt seem like it would really block that much sun. Just curious, not sure I have seen one of those before.
