New seat foam … is this normal?

My new seat foam just came in from one of our vendors, but there’s holes in both front bucket back cushions as seen in the pics, should I push for a replacement or is this acceptable quality? First crack at upholstery so I don’t have much reference other than it doesn’t seem right to me

No, that’s not normal. You will likely not notice an issue after those are covered but if it was mine I would return it. There are certainly more unexposed bubbles.

Might be hard to do. Maybe even unnecessary…
Unless they were purchased directly from a manufacturer, it’s very likely that every bronco and Ford truck parts vendor gets them from the same couple of places.
Or maybe even the same single place!

I suppose that even a smaller vendor might contract with a local, or overseas foam manufacturer to make their own at a lower cost.
Or the biggest and highest quality manufacturer can still get a bad batch, or let one with slight defects pass through.

So I guess it doesn’t hurt to know who it was after all. 🙄😉

It was Toms but they made it right and sent me replacements that were good. I don't know who actually made the foam.

Great to hear!
Thanks for following up with the result.
And now to wait and see what the newly reupholstered seats look like after they’re done! 😁
