Anybody had a bad experience with the new tailgate vendors are selling? They all have the same one from ford dies? Do they fit? So far all of the fenders suck and quarters, too. Oh, how about the hoods?

My hood fits perfect once I rebuilt the fender. The top inside of my aftermarket fender was spot welded too high. I cut the welds, moved it down about 1/2 inch and rewelded. The aftermarket hood fits perfect now. Haven't started on the tailgate yet.

nothing I have ever bought for my bronco fit. That's just broncoing for ya. Even my 400 dollar grill I had to cut, grind, weld, hammer, and then grind some more. Another thing is the rubber....not a single seal, weatherstrip, or boot I have bought lasted more than 6 months. I never expect any item to work without heavy mods. Most items are just good starting points and save you the hastle of completely fabbing your own stuff.

Az73, I did the same thing on the fender, I cut and rewelded the top flange. Mine also needed the flange on the door post moved out. I haven't finished the post side because I need to have the door hung perfect to set it. I have a line on a nice stock fender though and might give up on it.
