NPT 3/8 14 = what drill size?

Good luck finding that size at your local hardware store. Depending on what your tapping, a 9/16" drillbit will do and it's way more common. It's 1/64" smaller in size. I did the math for you.;D

9/16 is what I used.

Its only a 1/16th difference and it is smaller. So it means you have to take 1/16" more material with the tap. I think it will be fine.

Are you relocating the ECT sensor on the Explorer coolant tubes? A 9/16" will work fine.

yes and i just did-TY to the both of you......actually the efi ouch my back thread is were I will keep the info, sorry guys I was frustrated w/ VC and wanted to accomplish something so I wanted quick answer, wasnt to bad to tap, actually easy:D
