Probably a dumb ujoint question

Okay so i've never had to replace one before.. im getting good at it now though :<br><br>anyways, i always thought all u joints were the same.. when i went to pick one up at kragen i was asked vehicle type year etc etc.. so are they really different or what? like could i swap one out from my 44 and put it in my 9? (the u joint from the drive shaft to the axle)

I think they are specific to application.

jut go to the parts store and get all new also be sure to replace the cv joint also
