In the process of replacing the wore out old steering stabilizer found this bracket welded to the drag link behind the u bolted bracket? ( Picture included)
Should i just grind this off? when new stabilizer is installed i can turn all the way to the right but when i turn left stabilizer catches on this bracket and keeps it from turning?
Need feedback.. Thanks!

Not quite sure what's happening by your description but that welded bracket is factory stock and keeps the bracket from spinning on the drag link. You sure you dont have the u-bolted bracket on wrong? Is you suspension stock or has it been moded?

U bolts go on each side of the welded piece backet goes on the front side of it. May have to relocate where its bolted to the frame to adj lenght.

You didnt order new brackets did you?

I have had zero issues, well other than the tie rod and drag link being original to the truck. Got Duff's heim steering and bang, Smoother than ever.

So i should just move the bracket at the other end farther down? this should allow me to be able to turn left?
