For those who made the switch from cut quarters to the flared DC quarters; was there any noticable changes in clearance? Are the openings comparable?

I used them but haven't put body back on frame, definitely going to be more clearance. IMG_5676.jpg

I know it’s been talked about, but I don’t remember all the comments. Looks to me like it’s sort of a compromise size between a stock opening and what you can achieve with a cut fender and a flare.
I don’t know that from having taken measurements, it just looks that way to me.

But the key is that you gain a critical amount of clearance on the leading edge of the rear opening. Which is where most of the tire interference comes from on an uncut bronco.
So for a modest size tire they look perfect. If you’re still trying to go really big (which I think you are not) then cut looks like it has more clearance.

I'm not going huge. I'm leaning towards 32s with either a 1.5 or 2.5 lift. We'll see though. I'm planning to swing by the May It Forward event tomorrow. It's an opportunity to see some different setups in person.. and maybe try to be social lol.

Absolutely! Have a great time.
It'll be hard to remember to do both the socializing AND rear end checking!
