I am in the middle of reupholstering my stock rear bench seat and I noticed that the bottom wood is starting to break. It looks like it was made of cedar, which can be expensive. So I was debating on using something cheaper with a thick coat of sealer or if all else fails, there is always pressure treated wood.
Has anyone else replaced this wood? If so, what did you use and how has it held up so far?
