I posted some of this in my dads build thread but I like it so much I thought I would put it where more people might see it. It's like a giant rocking cradle for the bronco. It started as a wooden fixture to put the body on. But when it came time to work on the body it was too hard to get at everything. So I put 2 rounded ends on both ends of the fixture. Now it rocks back and forth and is really nice to work on. Here it is, I am getting ready to bed-liner the bottom side of the tub. I will do one side and then rock it over to the other side and spray what I missed. It's easy to build and way less than the cost of steel to build a rotisserie.

That's pretty slick, I may need to steal the idea. Just out of curiosity, does that fit in the garage? And if not, could you make the sides shorter to fit?

Plus, it kinda keeps the neighbors from having to "look" at a disabled vehicle... All they see is plywood instead!

Ends are 2 layers of 3/4'' ply I used 4 sheets on each end but after rolling it I found out the ends could be just 2 layers of ply A 4x8 end instead of an 8x8. it is very stable because it has a flat bottom. I cut a 42'' radius on each end that left 12'' of flat. The taller top helped with the blue tarp idea. I can roll it no problem and I don't think it will run me over. the other bronco like to do that. This one has been very good to me so far. The balance / center of gravity is just about right. I don't think it would roll all the way over with out some serious pushing to get it over. if you got a toe under it It would hurt but I roll it from the door area so my feet are no where close. I put 8'' lags into the 4x4's and it is held on real good. All you need is room to rock back and forth. As far as rolling it into the shop? Well for most you would have to use the smaller ends and mount some kind of wheel to the ends. I can't put it in the shop because the evil one lives in there.

Do you have the 4x4's then the body lift pucks on top of those? I was wondering what part was touching the body to allow for the best sprayability.
