Here's my 73. All glass except the windshield. Kentrol tub, and everything else was picked up second hand over the years and are all different makes. In case you're wondering, the guy who laid up the tailgate used plain steel tubing, it had already started to rust and split the bottom so I cut it out and put stainless in. Also put a plate on the bottom back corner of the doors that I attached a turnbuckle and cable to the upper hinge bolt on the inside to take some of the stress off of the front of the door at the hinges. Glass is a lot of work but I looks as good as the amount of effort you put in and won't rust out up here in Ohio.

My old 71 with Kentrol tub. Tailgate and Windsheild frame were also fiberglass, doors were not.

I'm replacing my fiberglass grill and tailgate for the more "Detailed" steel replacements. My window frame will be steel, as will be the doors....

ken75ranger did you cut the fiberglass flares to install the aftermarket flares? I still like the look of the riveted flares (white on red paint).

Here's mine that came out of the booth today. I still have some trim out left to do on it next week. It's an early 90's Malotte glass body. The only steel is the hood, windshield frame, and inner structure under the hood. My re-paint thread

Yes I did. I put on bigger tire and did not want to lift it more. Plus I was getting tired of fixing cracks in the moulded in flares.
I tend to rub thing when I'm wheeling. ;D

Any shots of the engine compartment? Id like to get a better idea on the core support, inner fenders, etc. Really debating on a glass tub. Might be the way to go instead of replacing all the old steel. Sounds like everybody has been happy with theirs so far.

Final fitment is usually the biggest issue. Getting gaps right was a pain on mine. The windshield didn't line up, doors were hard to align, etc.

Lookin good my friend! I called one particular vendor yesterday and tried to get some more details. Not much luck in that department. Are any of the holes pre drilled? Master cylinder, steering shaft, throttle bracket, doors, etc. I just want to make sure I dont get in over my head if I decide to go this route. Id love to chat with ya about it. PM me if your interested in answering a few questions to help me out with a decision. Thanks for the pictures.....its looking great!
