Interested in how anyone with a glass tub did the upper steering coumn mount under the dash? Mines is quite different than the steel tub and I know I have to fabricate something to make it work. Just interested in some suggestions.
Thanks

Not sure who's tub you have but I'm getting ready to do mine (older Mallote style body) and it looks like I need to put a 2' piece of 1" key stock or square tubing under the cowling to run from the center dash mount past the brake peddle mount.
It looks like the center dash mount, steering column mount, and the peddle assembly need the extra inch inside under the cowling to make it work.

my tub came with a steel cowl piece. The hood, windshield, and column bolt to that. Just like stock. U must have a old tub? What do u mount the hood too?

I have a terracomp tub. It has the cowl already on as part of the body with steel inserts glassed in where stuff bolts to. The backside of the cowl where these brackets are spot welded to on the old steel body is different on the glass one. I guess I'll just fab up my own.
Thanks guys and no I haven't taken any pictures as of yet but I should start to do that.

It's from Jeff's and it is about 5 years old. I bought it from an individual but it was still in crate never opened.

bknbronco I've been reading your build thread with interest. You did pretty much what I am doing now and I am impressed with what you did to yours.

Overall the body is really nice and I'm happy it with just need to get past a few of it's quirks I guess. I'm looking forward to the no rust thing too.
Thanks!
