Been awhile since I posted as every time I thought about it...I forgot. LOL. But have been making some good progress.

Have the entire bronco wetsanded with 1500 grit right now and she will stay that way till fully assembled, then will wet sand with 2000 and then buff her out.

Also raptor lined the tailgate and installed sound deadening inside the doors.

Finished the two tone paint on the grill, got the grill trim powder coated to match and then it took 3 guys to install the grill trim on the painted grill without scratching it...total PIA.

Also got the roll bar installed and bolted through the body into the frame mounts we fabbed up.

Then installed the tailgate and accompanying hardware.

Got the fenders, grill, doors and hood hung and most of the way adjusted. Still fighting with the doors and door seals to get them to shut nicely with the seals in them.

Tested the seat heaters/coolers and routed the wiring for both seats and all the interior wiring for lights and interior accessories.

AND still messing with the door seals...which have become the bane of my existence.seriously considering yanking them out and running without them

Unwrapped my protofab bumpers for the first time since getting them powder coated.

Wired up the LED lights on the rear bumper and the LEDs and 9,000lb winch on the front bumper. First time I've ever mounted a winch upside down.

I have read where some brands of seals are too stiff. Where did you purchase the seals from? I got mine from NE Classic and didn't have any problems.

Installed the 1 piece window kit made by Mountain Mike and sold by Wildhorse. I have to say, compared to most instructions that come with bronco parts...these were almost adequate LOL. But after some trial and error, we got them in and they work great.

First time putting all 3 seats in the bronco and also drilled for the console placement. Also tested out my wiring skills with the aux fuse box I put in to run additional accessories...so far so good. tested out the seat heater/cooler combos and the usb and 12v sockets...they all worked and didn't start a fire LOL.

After sitting for the last 2 years, finally got to put the REAL tires and wheels back on the bronco. They are dirty, but such an improvement.

And I got to teach my 5yr old son how to change a tire, which he thought was "so fun". LOL

Since we had the seats in and the tires, my wife and I decided to go for a fun but very cold cruise around the neighborhood with the kids. Was so awesome getting to drive it around...even though we don't have a winshield....or shocks.

Installed some nice billet dome lights on the roll bar front and rear.

Ran the wires inside the roll bars and had them come out near the base to tuck up and wire in behind the rear quarter panel on the drivers side.

Major PIA routing the wires through the roll bars through a tiny hole, but outcome was awesome. No more dim dark interior at night.

This was a great weekend!!! My buddy and fellow CB member Marv came over and painted my bronco today and it looks great.

I thought it was ready for paint a few weeks ago and had it all wet sanded, but then Marv and his dad came over and decided the bronco needed some more work...and then Marvs dad who is a phenomenal body and paint guy himself...spent 3 full days with me re priming, doing some filling and re-sanding everything again.

Ten We re wetsanded it again with 400 and 600. it came out awsome.

These are the same guys who flew down to do the bodywork on Bferrari's amazing build. I am so grateful for their help. It leveled up the quality of my build way beyond what I was capable of myself.

We were able to shoot everything except the grill, in one day. Grill is a bit more complex with the 2 colors and both a gloss and a satin clear, so we're gonna finish it when we are both fresh.

We started with the tub and the hood.

The garage paintbooth worked out really good.

Color is Porsche Chalk Gray.

Windshield, cowl, window frames and all accent pieces are satin black
That spray booth is awesome, as is help that pitched in!
