My failing eyesight is really having problems with this new format just plain too dark. just writing this post is very hard. I may have to retire from this site after all these years.

Rusty you provide to much help here to walk away.

Go to the bottom of the page and select sand as your color option, see if that helps.

I prefer sand on my phone and dark for the computer, yeah I know.

Really? Here's the old forum side by side with the new. Not really much difference:


If you prefer there's a lighter color scheme. Near the bottom right and select "light sand" as the style.

I had the same issue with the old password not working, but after a moment of deliberation I tried the "forgot my password" feature and the reset process was pretty quick.

Is there a way to compress the posts to show more posts on a screen by (say) showing just the title? I am using a PC with 27-inch monitor and I am seeing about 3 posts on the screen.

can you just make your view smaller, say scroll to 90% or less. Would that do the trick?

I compared the old and new forum side by side and it's always been about the same post spacing.

If you want to compress it you can turn off avatars. Click your username at the top right, then "preferences" then check "hide large avatars".

Tapatalk should be working now. Let me know if it isn't. I don't use it myself.

Correct. I was never a big fan of Tapatalk. Some people like them because they can easily switch between multiple different forums using the same phone app. But if the only reason you used Tapatalk was to get a mobile friendly version of this forum, then you shouldn't need them any longer.
