I have all but found my dad's old Bronco!
Today, I went to Fayetteville Paint & Body and spoke to Jack (The owner of the shop). Schreiber (CB member) suggested I ask him, and we figured he may know about it since he works on a lot of people's Broncos. Turns out we were right in our assumption. He was friends with the owner of it, the same guy I was told bought it and restored it.
Turns out the "taken back to uncut" is true, as well as being painted twice. It now sports an automatic trans as well.
Now for the sad part. The owner has passed away. I thought this may be the case since I googled one of the names I was given and found an obituary. Jack told me the last he knows of his wife still has the Bronco. I do plan to contact the owner's wife and see if she would mind us looking at it and maybe taking some pictures. I don't want to push the issue of selling too much due to the situation.
