Steam cleaning an engine

I was hoping someone could tell me what I need to cover/prep in my engine bay before I steam clean it? I don't want to screw some thing up.

I have a 302 with an edelbrock.

Thanks for the help.

go to Ralphs and get two grocery bags and two rubber bands, cover the distributor cap and the carb and rubber band them both
