    Ben's 73 Build Thread

Hi Mark - my glovebox door only interfered with the cage by 1/2” so I ended up moving the glovebox door over 1”. Keep in mind, I bent my own cage and fit it tight so my clearance to the glove box door was minimal. Depending on what you do with your cage will determine the clearance you will need.

Fuel pump should pull the fuel on its own, make take a bit of cranking to get it up to the carb. If your not getting fuel, start with the obvious, do you have enough fuel in the tank to reach the pickup? If so you can try pulling the line off at the carb and crank away until you get fuel. If...

    Rough ride

I am running a 3.5 suspension on mine as well. I ended up ordering new driveline from woods. They asked a few questions, walked me through all the measurements they needed off of my truck and a few days later they were shipped. I haven’t had any issue with mine. May be worth a call to woods...

    Rough ride

Does your truck have a suspension lift? Body lift does not affect the driveline so if you are only running a body lift, put the original driveline back in. May check the u joints in the old shaft before reinstalling.

Rear View Camera Monitor Mounting Options

I ended up using a double din stereo that had the rear view camera option with it. Love it! I use it all the time, especially parking in my garage and am able to back up to the same spot each time. I am running plate bumpers and mounted the camera to the bottom of the bumper. Works well and...

    Starting a build thread

Nice work! The reproduction panels are far from a perfect fit so keep plugging away fitting and tweaking them until you are happy with them. Your methodology of putting everything together to check fit prior to burning it in is on point. One thing that may make it a little easier during this...

    1975 potential purchase question

I was thumbing through the wants adds of the Shelby County tribune when this classified advertisement caught my eye ..... Lol! TheChiro - what’s your end game? Are you looking for a beater or want something you can make nice? May cost you quite a bit to straighten out everything on this one.
