    LED Headlight

I bought the Tom's Off-road - H4 LED Headlight Conversion w/Heavy Duty Wiring Harness - Part Number: 1473L and it's okay. The brights are not noticeably different than the low beam. The harness is kinda clunky and cheap. Not terrible but just too much slack in the wires/harness. This said, the...

    Need Wiper Vacuum Solution

Well, I gave up on the vacuums. I installed the electric wiper kit. I still don't like the look. But I have dependable wipers. Now I can get my vehicle inspection and state registration sticker. Now if I drive some distance, at least I drive in the rain. I should probably put the hard top back...

Cole Hersee is the man- 75600-01

Well, I feel pretty dumb after reading this. I didn't know about a switch with separate contacts for two wiper motors. For the Centech wiper wires and switch, I just spliced both motors together. Now I wonder what problems this may cause. AND - I have Centech's "left over" black Park Return wire...

    After market wiper switch

I am working on installing Tom's Offroad wiper kit with my Centech BR-10 harness. I understand what Spaggyroe wrote above. Still, once I am at the wiper motor, I have a Centech black Park Switch wire. Where does it attach to the wiper motor? I have the Red Park Power attached. White to low...

I'm a little late to the thread - but that supermotors.net site is great.

    Need Wiper Vacuum Solution

Thanks U13FL735. I guess I am wondering if my fuel pump's vacuum is somehow diminished or cheated somehow - other than leaks. I just need to keep checking all the hoses and tubes and fittings and such.

    Need Wiper Vacuum Solution

Yes, I have the hard line from the intake to the fuel pump. All my hoses are new. But I really should check them all. The old wiper vacuum hose is long gone. I bought a new Gates Rubber hose part number 27040 at OReilly's. That's how I tested the vacuum wipers. Even tho the hose is new, I should...

    Need Wiper Vacuum Solution

Okay thanks folks. It looks like I am piped correctly then. If I want to use the vacuum wipers then I probably need to do a couple of things: 1, rebuild/refresh the old wipers. And 2, make sure I don't have a vacuum leak anywhere and clamp the wiper vacuum hose. So the 170's intake manifold...

    Need Wiper Vacuum Solution

Right. I actually own the Tom's electric kit. I just think they look too clunky IMO. And I think the old vacuums look better, by which i mean smaller. I may have to end up installing the electrics.

    Need Wiper Vacuum Solution

My '66 vacuum wipers struggle for vacuum. To begin, I took a part and cleaned up the vacuum wipers. I did not rebuild with a new kit. Next, I have the stock 66 fuel pump. Question: I do not know how the fuel pump vacuum works: do both tubes on top - ports "suck in" ?

Hood clearance for 2100 and V.I. adaptor on Inline 6 200

BTW, looks like our 66s have a lot of looks in common. Your's appears to still be a workin' hoss. Mine's kinda keep in the stable these days.

Hood clearance for 2100 and V.I. adaptor on Inline 6 200

I took a look: excellent! So no 2V conversion, right?

Hood clearance for 2100 and V.I. adaptor on Inline 6 200

Does it clear the hood? Does anyone run an inline six 200 (late model, '83) with a 2100 carb with the Vintage Inline 2V:1V adapter? No body lift. Also, I'd like to use a snorkel air cleaner if possible. Right now on my '66 I have the 1100 with the clamp on little air filter - no wingnut (from...
