Dennis Carpenter wiring harness for 66

Sounds decent. This one and the engine bay harness would do 90% of the truck for round $800. They just need to make a taillight harness and it would be complete.

Rebuild or Replace Stock PS Gearbox

I know a lot of racers that use Lee. Always hear good things. They're located in the Valencia Industrial Center behind Walmart, off of Newhall Ranch Rd.

    66 original radio

Install Date stamp shows 66. June 25, 1966. There should be a permanent SN on the top side. "6TB_" would be a 66 or 67. Last digit would tell you what it came off of, but usually the lower mounting bracket can be swapped to match application. T= Truck U = Econoline B = Bronco W = W-series? I...

    Windsor plant

Yeah, when switching over to the 302, they started casting the longer cylinder skirt block for a time and went back and forth. My 68 block in my bronco points to a 302 production, but I haven't checked the valley ID. Engine tag and heads say 289. So I believe mine to a mix-match engine. "If...

    Windsor plant

Very Cool. Thanks for sharing. My grandfather worked at the Essex plant down the road in the 80s. Would have been in the corporate office in 94, but frequently traveled to the Windsor/Cleveland/Essex plants quite a bit at the same time. Retired in 96 after 46 years with Ford in Metallurgy...

    SOLD 1966 Upholstery (Silver)

I bought the covers for my 66 through Macs. Distinctive Industries is who makes most all the seat covers, but don't sell direct. Their sister company, TMI, makes the foam that everyone sells. Silver Mink L-1770...

1966 Specific Wiring Diagrams In CAD

If you are using Solidworks, the 3D pdf output function is pretty cool. Anyone can rotate and look at the CAD file in 3D. Which program are you using?

    No hassle headers

I have Hedman Long tubes in my 66 with a 289 and 3-on-the-tree. They went in without issue. I believe the headers that you are installing from Toms, are made by Hedman. I would agree that the clutch linkage looks pretty close.

    67 dash repairs unmarked holes

I have the Retrosound dual coil speaker in my 66. Was a pain to mount as it was tough to find a mounting bracket/adapter. had to take a 6x9 adapter and modify it.

    Rear main seal install?

Remove the pin. It presses out easily with a punch. Off set the two ends slightly. When I did mine, I put a dab of red loctite on the ends of the seal. supposedly helps join and seal the ends? No leaks on mine.

Trottle Down Kustoms (TDK) Frame Build

When I worked in the Off-road aftermarket, I used to work with Jeremy (owner of TDK) on his class 1 buggy. Good guy to deal with. When the him and his guys would come out to CA for testing, we would buy them all In-and-Out, and they would bring us Elk and bear sausage and jerky. Good times.
