I would think you would be fine since you have a painted surface under the undercoating, i would think it would be easy to touch up and offer better protection. Rust sucks.

To me if it's aftermarket then obviously it's not original and will not be as valuable. I saw the dennis carpenter bodies at the auto fair. They are nice but not 9k nice. hell you could get a descent whole bronco for that. I guess it would be more valuable than a original swiss cheese body...
