    NC Seeking advice

Just now seeing this. I live in Lafayette and I doubt those pictures are from around here. I will gladly go look at in person for you, but I don't think it is legit. Shoot me a PM if you need any assistance.

    '69 Refresh

It's been slow, but I've made some progress. Had the Dana 30 rebuilt and much to my surprise, had a locker in it. Based on that plus the coil springs with air bags, double shock mounts, and some welded patches on the frame just behind the front bumper, I'm thinking this was either beefed up for...

    Windshield Knobs

Disregard, I finally found what I was looking for. It sounds like there was originally a couple of threaded steel plates inside the frame. I wonder if I could cut a "just large enough" hole in the frame. Then weld a nut on a flat piece of steel or thread a piece of steel, then rivet that into...

    Windshield Knobs

I'm slowly working on my '69 to get it safe so I can drive it regularly. When I bought it, it was missing both windshield knobs but, the passenger side had a regular bolt in it. I bought new knobs to put in but there is an issue. On the side initially without the bolt, the knob wouldn't grab...

Anyone make a sheetmetal bikini top?

Makes sense. I guess I didn't realize they were hard to find/expensive. But, now that you point it out, I don't really remember seeing very many for sale anywhere. Thanks for the heads up.

My take on "Stealth" Rock Bumpers

Agreed! I could really use the rear bumper to put a full-sized spare on.

Anyone make a sheetmetal bikini top?

I wonder if a half cab could be modified similar to this or just use the actual top portion.

    '69 Refresh

With it sitting normal without out anyone or any extra weight in it, the splines are barely showing on the rear driveshaft. Looks like I will be getting a new driveshaft. Eventually I may move the rear end back an inch so I would definitely need one by then.

    '69 Refresh

Finally got to get some work done. We finished putting the lift on and got the front end put back together. I still have a good bit to do but it's looking pretty good. I've included pictures of the rear driveshaft and the front steering geometry to see what you guys think.

I'm hoping to make my first trip up this year. Still a good bit to get done between now and then though.
