    2bbl jumpy start

I've considered trying to change the geometry of the linkage to correct this problem, but I don't want to limit my WOT position. I even considered making a linkage position just to use on the trail with a reduced travel. Really the kind of answer I was looking for is some kind of adjustment...

    2bbl jumpy start

Overly responsive throttle. No stumble. It's just too sensitive. I can start off slow on the road, but when I'm bouncing around on a trail it is uncontrollable.

    2bbl jumpy start

Thanks for the responses. Honestly it has been so long since I set this motor up that I have about forgotten a lot of what I have done. I mostly quit driving it because I got so tired of this problem, but I'm ready to get it right if I can. I designed the adapter plate and had it made in a...

    2bbl jumpy start

Hi all, hope you can help with a carb issue. My Bronco is for trails, and the 2bbl carb works well except it is too jumpy coming off idle. I can barely feather the throttle. So usually I have to turn the idle way up so it will crawl over stuff without the pedal. That makes it run hot and use...

TN Tubing Bender - JD Squared Model 3

I think I was using 1/8" wall tubing, and it bent it with no problem. The handle on the bender is long enough to make the leverage easy. The manufacturer also offers a hydraulic kit that can be added, but I think it does fine in the manual configuration. Thanks, Greg.

TN Tubing Bender - JD Squared Model 3

I'll keep that offer in mind, but a guy is coming to look at it Monday who wants both the bender and the notcher. Thanks, Greg.

TN Tubing Bender - JD Squared Model 3

Tubing Bender - JD Squared Model 3 bender. Professional tubing bender used by racing and other tube chassis fabricators. Die included is for 2" OD tubing - bends at 6.5" radius, up to 180 degrees. Minimum tube wall thickness 0.095" - This is what makes it better than the cheap "pipe benders"...

    Reverse cooling (5.0L)

Oh OK... I was confused. I thought the coolant flow through the whole system was reversed.

    Reverse cooling (5.0L)

Cool! So I can run a 5.0L EFI motor with the old bronco timing cover, thermostat housing, and v-belts on it?

    Reverse cooling (5.0L)

What was the purpose of reversing the cooling water flow on the 5.0L mustang motor? Did they only design it that way so that they could make the serpentine system work? The reason I ask is that I have been having cooling problems, and it occurred to me that I am running a factory Bronco water...

    Replacement Liftgate Shocks

Thanks! I think that's the exact one I need! Thanks! GB

    Replacement Liftgate Shocks

My liftgate shocks are worn out, and I don't remember where I got the kit to begin with. The brand printed on the shock is Master-Lift, but I get the impression they went out of business because I cant find them. It also says 7787QS 0265N 325/05 A 21 ML13-60 Does anybody know what that means...

    Fan Shroud Customizing

Sounds simple enough. I think I'll try that too. Thanks.

    Fan Shroud Customizing

I've got some aluminum flashing that I could fit around it, but I would rather find something that is already round like a bucket.

    Fan Shroud Customizing

It seems I need to customize my factory fan shroud to better surround the Derale fixed blade fan I've put on my factory v-belt setup. I was thinking about using fiberglass or a plastic or metal hoop of some kind or a combination. Does anybody have any pics of a similar mod? Thanks, Greg
