    Children in the Bronco

I kept the car seats in the Bronco well past they were 3. I liked the 5 point seat belt the car seat had. Its way better than the lap belt or a 3 point belt. After that I got 4 point seat belts and bolted them to the stock seat belt holes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Age old question..which battery?

Batteries Plus is having a sale on car batteries. 20% off but a max of $30. So if you get an odyssey, that might cover the tax? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tools for Explorer Serpentine and EFI

I'm still in the middle of redoing my interior: going to a stockish dash/floors/bed/ bigger inner fenders. Since I'm working on that I decided to pull the engine and dropped it off to get rebuilt as I've always had overheating problems. While it was at the shop I had them install a cam from...

Tools for Explorer Serpentine and EFI

That is the cost of a new balancer. I did not send them an old one, nor did they require a core charge. The M8 bolts are 3” long, they came with the balancer puller. I would plan on a couple hours to pull everything. I’m pretty sure you need to remove the fan to get the balancer off to...

Dash - glovebox shift for cage

Once tacked in place, I’ve used a copper welding spoon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0821VR5CV/?tag=classicbroncos-20 Or a magnetic one if I cant reach the back side...

    6R80

I’ve pondered this as my 3speed Stak pops out of the 3:1, so I only have 1:1 or 5:44:1. It’s nice on the rocks, but not so nice on fireroads. Anyways, I priced it out with an Atlas 3:1 and it was about $10k. Maybe some day. 6R80 remanufactured $4000 Quick 6 $1375 Engine to trans adapter $850...

Tools for Explorer Serpentine and EFI

After making several trips to the junkyard because of not having the right tools, I thought I'd post up what specific tools are needed. I tried commenting on the https://classicbroncos.com/tech/explorer-5-0-serpentine-accessory-drive-belt-conversion tech article, but couldn't sign in? There is...

front kick panels for 6.5 speakers .

I have these kick panel pods. They are a bit small for my marine infinity 6.5s. The kick panel pod allows for a mounting depth of 2-1/8” and the mounting diameter is exactly 6.5” before it tapers down. My Infinity speakers are 7” in diameter and need 2-5/8” mounting depth. So I made a mounting...

Eldo calipers without using the e-brake

I replaced my El Dorado calipers with 89-97 chevy S10 4x4 front calipers. They fit in the brackets I originally got from BC broncos. I’m not sure of the piston or pad size, I wasn’t able to find that #. If you aren’t using the parking brake, that might be an option. Kyle Sent from my iPhone...

    Catalytic Converter for Explorer EFI

I looked for the Walker 80708 and couldn’t find it. Maybe it’s discontinued. If it was a CARB compliant, it probably had 400 cell count. I would like a performance cat and thats why I’m interested in the 200 cell count. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Catalytic Converter for Explorer EFI

I’m bringing this back as I’m in the market for a cat to get rid of the smell. My garage is attached to the house, so when I get home and park the Bronco, some fumes waft into the house. I’ve got a healthy 5.8 SEFI, shorty headers 2 into 1, 3” exhaust. So I’m looking for a 3” universal cat...
