    Moab help

X2 on fins n things for a taste of the experience. Can get through that one pretty quickly. Two hours isn't much time if you haven't been there before and don't know your way around. Here's a photo of it - I think.

My wandering 76 Bronco. Help Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The "abrupt and random" part of your question reminds me of a problem I had with an '80 Bronco. The problem was caused by a semi-frozen front axle u-joint. The axle would randomly rotate around (with hubs unlocked and transfer case in 2WD) now and then it would rotate to a spot where the U-joint...

If you’ve got some money to burn - Bronco candle

Maybe the candle could be used to diagnose a really difficult tuning problem. Helping to summon forth knowledge by lighting the candle, lifting your arms up to the Bronco gods... Worth a try.

Bronco content in latest TREAD magazine

Thanks Todd! I signed up for a year's worth. Love print magazines. Not much out there anymore, for sure.

Motorcraft 2150 Throttle Sticky With Engine Running, OK when off

Are the engine mounts OK? Engine moving around making the linkage bind up?

    Gasket and Permatex question

What made the most difference for me when sealing up the front cover, water pump, etc. was to use a large (maybe 20" long?) flat file on all the parts to make sure the gasket surfaces were flat. After the first few light passes with the file, I could see that in between most of the bolt holes...

    Belt squeeI I can't fix - 73 Bronco

I had this problem with my 73. Stock 302. California truck, originally. Had an AC pump bracket, but everything else for the system was gone. Fought it for a long time. Problem I finally found was belt alignment. No amount of shimming or adjustment solved the problem. I finally realized that the...

    Rimrocker trail

Howard2x4x4, That's a Cot Tent. Cot forms the base of the tent. I think Cabella's sells a version too. Pretty comfortable, doesn't need any guy ropes - and a lot cheaper and lighter than the rooftop tents I've seen. Not the best out there, but it works. One good thing about that creek crossing...

    Rimrocker trail

Got back from the Rimrocker last weekend. Had a great time! Fun trail, great scenery! We started the trail at Nucla, since there were no roads open over the divide. Camped on the trail 3 nights, then spent a couple nights in Moab. After Moab, we took the trail back east (skipping a pretty...

    Rimrocker trail

That's a great travel philosophy Yeller! Useful too - driving 50 year old Broncos and cool Jeep pickups! Also thanks for all the pics Scoop. Nice to look at those while sitting here in WI staring out at the snow and rain. Thunderstorms too. And flooding.

    Rimrocker trail

Thanks for the info! We'd like to have done this trip in the fall, but work schedules don't allow. We'll take in what we can of the Rimrocker, otherwise I'm sure we will find plenty of interesting places to explore out there. Five or six years back we were there when the Bronco Safari was going...

    Rimrocker trail

My girlfriend and I are planning to run as much of the Rimrocker trail as we can in mid May. I'm guessing a good part of it might be too snow covered to travel on, but I'm hoping we'll find detours around any impassable areas. Anyone have any experience with this trail? Any advice? Or going to...

    Bronco seats?

Are these the same as early Bronco seats? At $100 each, maybe not a bad deal? https://www.hemmings.com/parts/item/Interior/Seats/Vintage-Mustang-Bucket-Seats-1965-1970-Lot-of-33/24053.html?utm_medium=email&utm_source=saturday
