    Captain Crunch 2.0

as for the front shock hoop.... I currently have a Sexton hoop w/Blistiens, and Dull long arms with both shocks mounted rear of tire. like you have found the ride and handling is much improved. Its going on 12-14 years so like you I'm thinking of changing to new springs and shocks. Talked with...

    Blueprint 302 (365 HP) vs 347 (415 HP) vs 408 (450 HP)

personally that's the best route. Deal with someone you know, then you know what you're getting and they are there if and when you have questions and/or issues... 68-74 were the heavy blocks and were considered some of the best "factory" blocks available... but running Pro-flow EFI system...

    Blueprint 302 (365 HP) vs 347 (415 HP) vs 408 (450 HP)

can't add much to what has already been discussed. Bottom line is for you to decide what and how are you going to drive your Bronco. When I build, I start from grand up; ie tire size? mall crawler? show vehicle? everyday driver?..... As Nvrstuk and AZ73 said, all that determines engine, trans...

leaking oil out of valve cover breathers?

first crankcase has to breath, so it needs a pcv valve, and the valve covers need to have a baffle. On high performance engines I always remove the original baffle and fabricate "longer" ones. Having said that, if you have pcv and valve covers are baffled, then there is a possibility you may...

Early and New Bronco body overlay

I like your overlay... it shows that FORD really paid attention to bringing back the "true to form". I like it, but it will never replace my first generation Bronco. If I ever go back to tech school and have enough money to buy all the electronic equipment thats needed to work on it; might...

    Rear Bump Stop Bracket bolts

I not 100% here, but I think it's 5/16 standard thread. It's not very long at all 1/2-3/4 inch bolt. But it's threaded through the bracket and frame. Should be easy enough to drill and ez-out or redrill and tap. I'll check tomorrow when I'm at the shop and if you don't get better info tonight...

76 Bronco factory kick down - on carb

it's been a while since I've dealt with the stock autolite carbs, so I don't remember if the linkage is threaded or not. If it is should be either 1/4 or 5/16 fine thread.. get you a bolt with a short shank and intall. Make sure it's not too long as to catch or bind when accelerating. If the...

Thoughts oh Harbor Freight mig welder?

I know I'm a little late to this party, but I have owned my original 240 century welder(Lincoln clone) from HF for over 20 years... it's welded many floor pans, roll bars, bumpers, trailers, and everything in-between. Yes its gas capable and only thing I've replace has been the control switch...
