    Stock bumper with hidden winch

I’ll be following this closely. As cool as the fabricated bumpers look, there’s nothing like the classic look of the stock bumpers. Just got my Duff tire carrier for the stock bumper and this would be a great addition to the front.

    Hurst Floor Shifter Repair

Hey Bulldog, hope you’ve been well! It’s been a while since I installed my shifter but I believe you shouldn’t have to mess with the linkage. If you have enough room in the floor opening you can unbolt the shift tower from the bracket and pull it aside. Swap the brackets, bolt the tower back on...

Duff 2 into 1 fit question

Me personally, I would just cut the excess off as long as the pipe was lining up with the 2 into 1 collector. Most pre bent exhaust kits are going to have a little wiggle room built in to accommodate different combos. Best to have pipes too long than too short.

when do you need an adjustable trac bar?

This☝️! With the track bar on the stud and someone turning the steering wheel it will move the body left or right allowing you to line up the bolt hole. After bolting it together you can measure each side of your rims to the fenders to make sure it’s centered. If it’s not centered then you’ll...

Mad dog is what my Army buddies called me because my first and middle initials are M D and my last initial is B. This name carried over to the Highway Patrol since then. My avatar is my 72 on the way home from Super Celebration last year

    Carb Help

I’ve had my Summit m2008 for over a year now. I got a 600cfm with an electric choke and it runs flawlessly on my stock 302. The thing about these retrofit fuel injection setups is they tend to expose a lot of other flaws. The summit carb is pretty much a 4010 Holley with some minor upgrades...

Outstanding write up! The Duck Tuff suspension is definitely on my list.

    leaky oil pan

I drilled the rivets that hold the inner plate, the one the dipstick goes into. I removed both plates, cleaned up everything, and tapped the inner plate for a Moroso braided dipstick tube. I flipped the inner plate upside down and welded it solid on the outside. Doesn’t leak a drop.

Available off the shelf 2 into 1 exhaust?

I second this! I had this same setup ran at my local exhaust shop substituting a Cherry Bomb Salute for the Flowmaster. Cost me $160.00, no joke. That was muffler, pipe and labor out the door.

Do You Get Compliments on Your Bronco Very Often?

Every time I drive it I get comments at the gas pump, at stop lights and thumbs up when riding beside folks. Once or twice I’ve gotten the “nice J**p” comment. In my mind I’m like really!!! but I calmly use the opportunity to educate the poor sheltered souls. I also take every opportunity I get...
