Wanted to know everyone thoughts on using structural adhesive for the door post and rocker? I’m planning on using 3M 07333 on the majority of the post, minus a few areas for spot welds. The rocker would be adhesive top and bottom with spot welds on the two ends.
Take the bracket and install longer threaded studs. 1.5 - 2 inches. This will help you push it through the firewall, start a nut and slowly work it in tight.
Toughest part is the Teflon seals. I used two kits like everyone else. Found that a piston ring compressor and a fair amount of lube helped with the seals.
