    Thanks, WH rep said that they need to be plugged if you have a manual- don’t know why they don’t provide them since 6 cylinder Bronco’s with an automatic are rare if any.

    Just received a new radiator from WH for my 170 six. Nice unit but there’s 2 holes for automatic transmission lines on the bottom that I need to plug (not included). WH couldn’t tell me the bolt and thread size, is it 1/8 NPT ? Thanks Tony

    Thanks Spaggy, it looks like the approximate location on the WH instructions. The exact placement I’m determining is where the stabilizer expands and returns so the wheels can be fully turned left or right.

    Oil plug hole stripped- retap or Helicoil ?

    Thanks for the advice on self -tapping because it seems like that's what it had on it already. It does go on tight but it had an aluminum crush washer which maybe has to be changed or perhaps I'll try and find a nylon washer which I see goes with many self-tapping plugs.
