Original plan was to weld...but mocking them up today I have them tight against the spring tower and don't see how I could get a weld gun tip in on those front facing edges. I m doing a coyote swap and sat the engine/trans in the frame for the first time yesterday to check starter clearance...

Really appreciate the pictures and experience, I m getting ready to install the same shock mounts. What engine trans are you running? How much clearance between the starter and the bolts/nuts/backing plate did you end up with after install?

What gearing did you end up with? I have 4.11 stock currently and plan on a Gen 2 F150 swap...any recommendations?

Moving the firewall back provided enough clearance for the brake booster? How far back did you go? Any other modifications to the body and or frame to make this work with no body lift?

4.11 is whats in it (assuming they are truly original) Didn't plan on changing it. Plan on sticking to 33 inch tires but I am sure I will have a heavy foot at times.

It looks like you may have a few years of experience with this set up under your belt now, what's the verdict? Did you keep the stock oil pan with no issues? I m planning to try the same thing Gen2 F150 pull out with stock oil pan, 2 inch body lift, max 2.5 SL (would like to use 1.5)
