    optima batteries

    a couple days ago there was a post on broncofix.com about trouble with optima batteries.one of the responders was a fella named optimajim.he is a cust rep for optima.according to jim,the red top is a starting rated battery.not for running accesories (winches and other high draw eq).for that...

    after 35 years

    again a big thanks to garbers.he came to the house today to replace 35 year old C bushings,track bar bushings.OH,track bar bushings only 32 years old.all back together and looking good.thanks again mark for your time and help.

    gauge testing

    built a gauge tester,works just fine.it is just soldered together right now,but will be putting it on a ckt board soon. results::: 10 ohms temp gauge reads 230* 72 ohms temp reads 120* 10 ohms fuel full 72 ohms fuel empty 10 ohms 90 lbs oil pressure 72 ohms about 3 lbs oil pressure...

    just got off the phone with mike standley at broncodesign.had a very good conversation about broncos.talked about grounding issues with fiberglass,sounds like he has good plans to help eliminate these issues.other features will be available.

    due to the several threads on here from people haveing to repair or replace smog equipment,it seems to me we should be scrounging up all that we can find for our particular broncos.
