    Magnet in the oil pan?

    Would it hurt anything to put a small (two inch) magnet at the bottom of the oil pan when I pull the pan to fix the leaking gasket? Could it get sucked up into the pump or something?

    Steering column light bulb

    I have a 76 automatic and I need to replace the light bulb in in the steering column. Do I have to pull the steering wheel to get to the light bulb? it would seem strange that Ford engineered it so it is so labor intensive to change a stupid bulb. Thank you for any help you can give me, Kevin
