    Truck is eating batteries!

If you pull the negative battery cable off the battery and connect a 12V test light between the negative battery terminal and the disconnected cable end you will see the test light lit up if you have a voltage drain. If that's the case do as gnpenning said and start pulling fuses until you...

can i use 78-79 bronco radius arms on my eb to achieve having longer arms?

There are a few cheaper alternatives to buying long arms. You could fab up your own, BMC has posted pics of his and there are outfits that sell extensions that you weld on. Look into it so you can make an educated decision.

    Allen bolts for Warn hubs

I wound up with a set of aluminum screws with a set of Mile Markers I got a few years back. Never used them, I like to use stainless. With the stainless be sure not to exceed the torque specs or you might gall them in which case they will break and look/seem as though they were aluminum.

And for all you Yankee bass-turds, from Providence area it is just shy of 8 hours to Bill & Filly's Island compound, aka St Georges Home for Wayward Boys. You Long Island/NY area boys have no reason not to go since it's maybe a 4 or 5 hour cruise. Good folks, always great food & usually too...

Help me with my brakes please!

Yes. But you're not pressurizing the system, you're just pulling fluid from the MC down to the wheel cylinder/caliper to drive the air out. And those hand vacuum bleeders don't always work so well . . . There might also be a proportioning valve on the frame, you have to pull the pin out when...

I saw him driving it around Seekonk a few times last year before he finished the interior, that b!tch moves out nice! And he didn't miss a detail, just his wiring alone makes my jeans tight.

Is there a tech article for replacing "C" bushings?

On the 78/79's, which are almost identical you definitely have to remove the lower coil spring base, 2 7/16" bolts that tap into the forward radius arm cap. Shouldn't have to remove the shocks if they are mounted on the radius arm itself, might if on the cap. I have never had to remove my tie...

found a C6 and mated 205 out of 79 bronco, can i use it?

I forget, suppose I could look it up. Has something to do with the fact that a 400 is, for the most part, a stroked cleveland (1" taller deck height). To stroke a 460 you need pistons, rods, crank - not to mention bottom end work once you have it open. The 400 has a square bore, 4" x 4" which...

found a C6 and mated 205 out of 79 bronco, can i use it?

Okay, $300- that will not make much improvement to a 460, but will give the 400 the edge in performance. I didn't even look at the cam numbers, just grabbed a price off the first "kit" I found. Back in the old PJB days we beat this topic up pretty well and did find, IIRC, that to get high...

found a C6 and mated 205 out of 79 bronco, can i use it?

All said and done it's right about 200 pound difference factoring in accessories required for each. And you are right, stock numbers favor the 460. But why $3K? A cam and a timing chain and the 400 is done. No pulling the motor, torque over 400 and most of your power is from right off idle to...

found a C6 and mated 205 out of 79 bronco, can i use it?

There is a never ending battle raging, the 400(M) vs. 460. A 400 will get you torque and HP numbers that rival the 460 without spending a lot of money and without the extra weight & bulk of the big block. The 460 will satisfy some inadequacies you might have . . .
