    Bed Panel Gap?

Ahh...good to know! I also have some small surface rust spots that need some touching up. Thanks, Jeff/Tork. Instinct told me to get that seam welded, but I wanted to make sure I either needed to replace the panel or patch it first. Seems like I should trust my gut more 😄

    Bed Panel Gap?

Thanks, Jeffncs! That's what my next question was going to be; I've not used seam sealer before and this looked to be a good use for it. As for the rust converter, I've been trying to parse out the differences in Corroseal vs Eastwood...not sure if its simply preference though.

    Bed Panel Gap?

All, I'm getting into cleaning up my '73 that sat for several years and, as I was getting dirt/debris out of the bed area, I noticed a gap between the ben pan and wheel well (see pics below). Just looking at it, I don't see any rust and the metal sounds solid...I plan to eventually get some...

What have you done to your Bronco today?

I stumbled across that same kit a few months back - unfortunately, I don't have a welder, so I was wondering how this hoop faired and considering it, if I can't find a generous neighbor. Haha...I suppose it should be fairly self-explanatory. With any bit of care, you'll get it on straight!

Are you going to go single or double shock up front?

    Engine shop recommendations in Texas

Jumping onto this thread: anyone know of a reliable shop in the Austin area? Doesn't have to be Bronco-related (I've spoken with Badass and Hilltop), but someone that knows their way around a 302...

Painless Harness and WH G3 One Wire Alternator Install

Nothing installed yet. I received the kit and alt from WH about 2 weeks ago and was waiting for the right time (between family trips) to start the replacement, but I was curious about how the 3G one-wire was tied into the harness.

Painless Harness and WH G3 One Wire Alternator Install

Got here late, but I'm glad I found this thread cause I had similar questions! I'll be doing the same setup on my '73 and was curious about the pigtail, terminations, and how to best accommodate without cutting up the nice new harness.

What have you done to your Bronco today?

Got a fresh set of plugs and oil/filter on...started a tune on the carb to lean it out. Hoping to replace all the engine bay hoses (fuel, vacuum, etc) and a new pair of belts in the next week...also pulled the trigger on a Painless harness and 3G alternator from WH 😁

    Too Far to Drive It?

I try to check in weekly, but I tend to only read through the input of the seasoned gurus on the more technical threads (since that's where mine needs attention).

    Too Far to Drive It?

Unfortunately, I had to take a 5+ year hiatus while locking down my wife and left the Bronco in storage with family. I can assure you, however, in the 5 years of storing the Bronco, I stayed firmly stayed in the HE column 🤣🤣🤣

    Too Far to Drive It?

I ended up trailering it - it was a good choice, since I received it with electrical issues, bad fuel and desperately in need of some TLC. The silver lining is that my wife was almost as disappointed in the condition it arrived in (due to the storage) and is on board with a new harness...

    Too Far to Drive It?

Same goes for TX...100°+ days and much higher humidity than AZ. Already pricing out a larger capacity radiator and electric fan setup 🥵

What is the story on that igloo center console?

    Too Far to Drive It?

I really appreciate that, everyone. Still working out which method works best for me (and the expectant wife), but I will definitely reach out, should I work out driving it.

Has anyone flown a flag off the back of there Bronco?

For flags, I highly recommend Gettysburg Flag Works - made in the USA, with USA quality, and tons of selections in historical American/Military flags. They also have articles on flag etiquette and conventional display/parade standards. https://www.gettysburgflag.com/ P.S. they have some of...

    Too Far to Drive It?

That's correct - at the time of parking it, the tires were pretty new. I'll have to look it up. The prospect of the trip is exciting, but a lot of [current] unknowns are giving me pause...I'd be driving it alone the whole way and would hate to be stranded at an inconvenient hour haha.

    Too Far to Drive It?

Luckily, one of the updates I did before officially making it a "daily" was installing the WH headlights kit, with the relay harness. At this point, after hearing the good input, my biggest concern is the electrical and the tires. Going to do a facetime call/review to check on them, but may need...

    Too Far to Drive It?

Whoa. That's amazing to have gotten it back...I can only imagine the thoughts going through my head if that happened to me and I was asked that final question 🤯
