IL Looking for 1967 passenger seat footman loop

Thanks T-Bird. I used a pioneer three way 6x9 since I didn’t want to cut the door panels and had tried the fiberglass speaker panels but didn’t care for the look. I also have cheap rear speakers for now that tuck under the rear quarter panels and are hung from the roof hole mounting points. Last...

    1966 Passenger Seat Footman Loop

I messaged the member who originally posted the pics on this site and he believes this is a 1967 latch/loop. What had me questioning if it was ever offered. I recently started to restore a set of 66/67 seats and noticed that my passenger seat has a threaded nut and cutout on the inside rear leg...

IL Looking for 1967 passenger seat footman loop

I’ve read that as well, hoping to put one on like the one in the pic. Not sure what year the one I’m showing is or how to add later model mechanisms to the 66 seat frame.

    1966 Passenger Seat Footman Loop

Not really sure if the holes are threaded or not since these pics are ones I found while researching the footman loop for my 66.

    1966 Passenger Seat Footman Loop

I’ve searched the forum and there are plenty of discussions around the footman loop/latch for 68-77 but not much on the 66’s. I’ve read that some never came with a latch and others did. It appears that the design is different for the latch and loop then the later years. I’m in the process of...

Oil bath air cleaner on an EFI

Thanks! May go back to the stock covers and get rid of the fitech logo screaming at you when you open the hood.

Oil bath air cleaner on an EFI

I modified my stock air cleaner to fit my fitech. Not sure about the Edelbrock but I had to cut a hole in the side to allow the fuel regulator and lines to tuck into the side of the air cleaner. Went with a slightly thinner filter Element so it does not get in the way.

Gloss or Satin Black Roll Bar

I had my cage built by Gordon at Bailie Bilt and he suggested a matt clear which is what I went with.

Gloss or Satin Black Roll Bar

I went with a hammered silver vein which complimented my 66 silver interior, considered satin but thought this was a nice alternate to black.

bench seat rigid or lean forward

I have a 66 with a bench seat and it has two bolts that secure the seat back to the bottom. I figured they all had this and the ones that leaned forward we’re just missing the bolts. Makes sense that they do not fold forward as there would typically be a bulkhead behind them and no need for...

    FiTech users

Best advice I can give after numerous hours on hold and speaking with Fitech support is to start data logging. There are so many little things that can separate your install from another which in turn will effect how you tune for your application. Data logging is the best way to see how your...

Could have swore it was stamped into my plate. There is a call out on the second line but nothing stamped as you said viperwolf. I had a written break down all of my vin/data along with 3900# GVW when I first bought the truck. Not sure how I came up with that. Any idea how I figure out what it...
