WH Inner Fender Ventilators Help with Cooling?

It does help keep the under hood temps down a lot, and my feet don't fry as much while driving...engine temp's more a function of the cooling system. I also wrapped my headers, seems to help also, I only did it to try to keep some heat so my O2 sensors would work better, as they are at the other...

    Steering Column Gap

Just like the TGJ said, prob adjust the column. The Column bracket is slotted allowing some movement to reduce the gap. Its easier if you pull the wheel off, pull the spring, put the wheel back on, just snug the nut. this way you're not fighting the spring tension. Once you get the gap set and...

    Metalcloak 6pak-shocks

Passed a Jeep on a trailer...and saw some shocks I've never seen before. 4 pistons, single body. Took awhile on the Google to find them. Anyone have any info, thoughts, or experience with these? Theory looks sound, to my basic knowledge, but that do you guys think? Not looking to use, too much...

    Improving wash board/rocky road ride

Good thread, just in time, I'm replacing my 20+ year old RS9000's one has a dent and its got some give when changing direction. Anyway loved the 9000's because of the adjustability, going from road to miles of washboard roads in New Mexico. Now in my part of TX, mostly road...

    Power Steering Rebuild/Replace/Reseal/Full Kit

will have no problem selling it, you can ship it in one of those flat rate boxes. You have to fudge the 'if it fits, it ships', the folks here said tape it up, and when you think you're done, put more tape on. worked pretty well.

    Power Steering Rebuild/Replace/Reseal/Full Kit

Agree with just replacing the selector shaft seals. I've made a few 4X4X2 boxes and the process isn't difficult. There are lots of UTube info out there. Been told you can swap the selector shaft seals by pulling the pitman arm, removing the selector shaft seal snap ring, thread the nut back on...

like 73azbronco said, check your TV cable, if its not adjusted correctly it will cause your trans to slip and shift weird.

New Saginaw Pump - no power steering

Might want to look further into the pump, the fitting that actually goes into the pump itself, not the one you just swapped out, is critical for flow rate. Also the spring and shuttle valve/relief valve. I'd pull the fitting off the back and make sure the shuttle valve moves freely and isn't...
