My stock fuel pump went out so I bought a Holley replacement from WH. For anyone that’s installed, how are you making the connection to fuel line and carb line. It’s different that stock. My thought was to use an air line fitting? Any other ideas?

I hate to see it, but I understand your position. I really think that it’s not worth the time and investment for the two upgrades. You can always sell the serpentine system with the bronco. Just mention that it’s from Sandman and it should alleviate anyone’s concern about what they are getting...

I am going to go with a blueprint as well. Have had numerous conversations with them and they are always helpful (of course they are, I am about spend $5-7K on a new engine). They will also paint the engine Ford Blue if you want them to. Their roller motors come with the cam shaft already...

Same thing on the negative coil side

Just checked the voltage. Positive side of coil to negative battery cable and I have 13 volts.

Correct. The only wire that has been hooked up to the negative side of the coil is the wire coming from the distributor.

Well sh$t. I checked the wrong fuse. The coil fuse was blown. It’s very possible that the key may have been left in the on position for some time. I don’t remember leaving it on or turning it off but I was trouble shooting some painless stuff. I replaced the fuse and same issue. So new coil...

just to make sure i understand.. this would have been caused by hooking #970 wire to the positive side of the coil? that's the only wire i have disconnected. hope that i didn't ruin my brand new distributor!! i still have to check the voltage.

Correct, purchased from WH. MSD 8222 Blaster High Vibration Coil

I checked the fuse and it is good. I will work on testing the coil. I also have my old coil I could put back in. I am not running a ballast resistor, per tech at one of the vendors I don’t need with this could and dizzy set up.

This is how I have it set up, except I am not running a tach so the gray wire is not connected.

Not sure what this means? My previous coil didnt have a separate fuse. Am I supposed to add one to the painless for this coil?

So I have just installed the painless wiring. I also replaced my points dizzy and coil with the MSD ready to run and M2 Blaster coil. Also have new spark plug wires. No spark when I go to crank it. Here is how I have wires routed. Starter Relay- #919 hooked up to “S” and #970 hooked up to...
