I would keep it running and drive it while fixing what you can , then see if you like it as is , or sale it . The value added by your work may get you closer to that dream ride .

Holley Rebuild it , it's not that hard and easy on the wallet ,new carb is expensive ,

It was a project of the p/o , once the rockers and the lower door post is fixed the rest is all assembly . most of the drive train has,, been rebuilt.

Got the blue glass 76 running good now to work on the Red 69 . 69 is a good solid body , rocker panels and drivers lower door post is needed . Then install drive train and wiring harness . Wish me luck .

roll cage This is what I was thinking also , I'll use rubber between the plate and make the bottom plates larger than the plates on the cage . Thank you

I need help or ideas for mounting a roll cage in a fiber glass body bronco . I want to tie it to the frame . Should I use rubber between the plates or just direct to each other , or am I going at it all wrong any tips appreciated .

Don't know just got it running , it sat since 98 . P/O rebuilt everything and then only put 500 miles on it . I bought it without hearing it run . I'll look at it in the morning and try some of the thing u listed , thank you .

Ok I got the brakes fixed , put about 75 miles on the 76 yesterday and couldn't tell how fast I was going . The speedometer bounces so much . When I wanted to run 35 , I would be between 30 and 40 , it bounces that much . Any ideas on what to check first , any tips appreciated . Thanks

Finished up with the new m/c , proportioning valve and lines , bled brake starting at the drivers front passenger front d rear and p rear . I have a great pedal and took it for a spin . So far no problems , brakes not heating up and stopping straight . I think it was it sat for 17 years and the...

All sound advice , thanks . Going to replace all any way , the rust in the m/c has me concerned . This is going to be my run around vehicle , want it ready to go every day . Got the parts today and Ill let everyone know how it turns out .

no , its just that there was rust in the master cylinder and want to start fresh with clean m/c lines and valve .

Looked for m/c and proportioning valve sat. found m/c but no proportioning valve , have to order one from jbg this a.m.

Thanks guy all great info , going to replace m/c and proportioning valve , change fluid and replace a line that twisted when removing it . Thanks again I'll whip this thing yet .

To the intake , proportion valve can it be reset or does it have to be replaced ?

I lift up on peddle and no change , removed hose to booster no change . Added washers between mc and booster did nothing , going to empty mc and watch plunger or see it's location next .
