My 1998 Explorer 5.0 engine that I am swapping into my Bronco came with a fairly new set of TorqueMaster Headers. These headers reportedly improve horsepower and gas mileage. Anyone with knowledge if they fit into a 73 Bronco 4x4 - C4 please let me know. Thanks, WP

TorqueMaster Headers These are the header that came with my Explorer 5.0. If they fit in my bronco when I install the engine I will add a thread.

Thanks for the information. The headers are pretty spendy, but they appear to be good quality.

Torque Master Header - Explorer 5.0 1998-2001

My Explorer 5.0 came with a new set of Torque Master headers, but I am not sure if they will work with this swap. Has anyone used these headers with their swap?

Good question! I am also looking for answers in reference to steering wheels as I have a 1973 Bronco with a steering wheel that I would replace. The previous owner replaced the 73 three speed column with a 75 automatic column. I would love to go back to the 73 steering wheel. I will continue to...

Thanks guys. The Bronco came with 2 additional engines an Explorer 5.0 EFI and another 302. All of them run and the internals look pretty good. I plan on doing some light trail riding and street rides. It was converted from a three speed to a c-4. I look forward to learning some bronco skills...

Nice job! I am trying to decide if I want those or the ones that mount outside the rocker. I have to admit those look pretty cool when they drop as the door opens and retracts as you close up.

Purchased it yesterday and hauled it home and parked it; 1973 U153 302. It has power steering parchment front and rear seats and a roll bar. 33” tires and a 2 inch lift. Quite excited as this finishes my collection of vehicles I’ve always wanted.
