Nothing huge, but got the motor and trans back in today. Big thanks to ransil for the help! I'm so lucky to have good EB brothers around to lend a hand, sell me parts, etc.

Dash and wiring are next on the check list. I will drive it next summer, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Wanted to get something else done this weekend, so I tore down the stock cluster, cleaned and blacked it out.

Looks great and it's good to see more LUBRs being built. I like the green too.

How is it set up now? Staying with current lift and tires/wheels?

What plans do you have for it?

Right now it's a 1" body lift, and some salvaged rollers to move it around.

I'm adding a 2.5" suspension lift and undecided on tire/wheel combo. Maybe 15's with 33x10.50 or 17's with 285/70. I have time to figure that out.

Right now more concerned with wiring and plumbing brake & fuel lines to get it back under it's own power by fall.

Currently a mild built 302 with 4bbl, 3 speed floor shift with manual brakes and steering. Going to keep it that way for a while, I like the nostalgia of simple.

This truck was hacked and cut when I bought it in 92. Lots of time and money to get it back to uncut and rust free.

almost 2 years ... any progress ?

Tons. Im waiting for the windshield to arrive, need to rebuild rear drums, bleed the system and install seats. Im rebuilding the steering now and targeting memorial weekend as my date to finally be driving it by.

Seats and belts are the last large purchase. Im just praying it fires after all these years.

Is that the green that Honda used on the Element? I was a Honda tech for years and always thought it may make a good alternative to my limestone green poly.
