Had my some of my wife's family helping out last few days so that allowed me to escape in the garage. I was able to get the front half of the chassis started:

Engine and trans cross-members are done and I rolled the axles in place. I will try to get some pics of it this weekend once I get the area cleaned up a bit. She is starting to look like a bronco again.

I need to convert the tailshaft and housing on the tcase to a flange style which will give me a little more room to work with a allow and slip joint with enough spline for the suspension travel. I then need a rear driveshaft made and can work on the 4-link.

I want to install twin turbos and right now I don't have enough room upfront for both a radiator and an intercooler so I am debating on whether I mount the radiator in the rear or will use two small intercoolers and find room around the wheel well area to mount those.

10in body stretch. I used fenders off a '65ish truck bed. Next project is to drop the floor pans 4in to get the seats lower then finish out the rear suspension.

I had a long internal debate with myself on whether I was going to mount the seats to the cage or to the body. Worst case is a high speed roll-over. If I was going to mount to the cage it was going to be very elaborate tube bends with the drop floor pans. With the seat harness still tied into the cage, I ended up building brackets for the body, so in doing so I had to modify the passenger side floor pan as I did not want to weld to the thin stock sheet metal. I had thought about cutting that section out last time, not sure why I talked myself out of it. All the replacement floor pan is 1/8" steel. The seat mounts are 1/4" steel. Overall I am glad I spent the time dropping the seats. They are now 3in lower than the previous setup. Once I get the body off I will weld in supports underneath. All the body mounts have been strengthened and the chassic mounts are 1/4". I don't think the body will rip off because I have the seats mounted to it. Anyways here are some progress pics. I also started getting the cage reassembled as I had to lengthen it 10" when I stretched the body.

Door posts and rockers almost done and doors hung. Doesn't seem like a lot of work but I have a week of work in getting the doors right, what a PITA!

It is not dead yet....lot of work on the axles, just need to order the coil overs and finish the mounts so I can take everything apart for a full weld out.
