Great work! No simple tast that you have jumped in with both feet! Keep it up! Lookin Good!

If you built the tank great job. Looks very good. I remember building my tank and over looked the step in the back for the crossmember on the body. What a bummer that was for me your tank looks good.

I’ve got to ask this as I am contemplating building a fuel cell myself for my ‘77. What is the in-tank fuel sending unit out of? I’m assuming it ain’t a stock EB sender.
By the way, looks like you did a great job on the fabrication

In the text it mentions being an Aero brand tank. That’s a company out of Southern California that makes tanks for a lot of different vehicles.
I thought I remembered the sending unit and electric pump area being recessed though, but maybe they made a change.

Notice in this case there are no side brackets but there are reinforcing plates. It was ordered that way so the installer can weld brackets to suit the individual bronco.

The fuel sending unit can probably be any type you choose, but they typically come with the standard swingarm type universal aftermarket unit that you fine-tune during the installation.
It would be the Ford 73 to 10 ohm range model to match the factory gauges, but otherwise is just a basic swingarm/float type.

Thanks, DD. I obviously read fast enough that I smooth missed that the tank was named. Maybe my thoughts of building a fuel cell are unnecessary. Lol
