73 and a tub

In question is a rough 73, negatives...crash damage, gutted doors, glass front end including core support, no top and backseat. Positives... 44 front, good 302 and 3 speed, drive trains quiet, floor pans are solid, inner tub unmolested except for a tranny tunnel mod for a shifter, Az. truck. #2 is a tub located in west Texas, needs floors but the rest is sound, thought about using it as a guinea pig for panel replacement...I'm thinking seriously about bringing either or both tubs back to uncut status as they both need repair anyway. The guy with the 73 is looking around 5 thou and tub in Texas is a grand. Any thoughts before I pull the trigger would really be appreciated!! It has been way to long since hangin out on CBs but with finally bringing another bronco into the stable I just can't help myself LOL Thanks Mark

The 73 doesn’t seem too far out of the ballpark if it’s running and has a clean title.

Me I would buy the rough 73 as long as it has clean title and save the other grand for parts for it. The bare tub is jut plain sucking up money going no where. You will need at least 3 grand to get a hood, fenders grill and missing or damaged sheet metal. The parts you need don't come with the bare tub. Or I would spend the extra grand for a good welder if you don't have one.

If you do get the tub I would be interested in the dash pad.

Funny you mentioned that about a welder RT I'm selling a tig welder that I'm going to deliver to a buddy of mine in west Texas who's the connection for the tub anyways so no added cost.

CHB I forgot to put in that's it's got a clean title

BR That's awesome whatever it cost's it's worth it!
