Door repair. Old is out. New is about to go in. Bought a bottom repair panel for Dennis Carpenter. I am hoping to cut out using the old template that I removed from the door. Stay tuned. Wish me luck. LOL

It turned out great. It was a lot of work. A buddy of mine had the machine you can buy from Texas. He let me do some of the work. Here are some pics of the aftermath.

I was up till midnight last night shooting primer but had to get it done so it wouldn’t flash on me. Turned out pretty good. One step closer. Got some Swiss cheese to fix that I discovered after we media blasted. Previous owner just put bondo in instead of fixing.

We used recycled glass as the media.

When media blasting reveals cancer you cut it out a replace it not cover it up with bondo!!

Ok guys.... Had the rest of my parts media blasted and boy am I feeling down now. Take a look at these pics. My question is... If the right person does this can these parts be fixed or do I need to go another direction. I am glad I had this done but makes me sick to my stomach to see this Swiss cheese. What do you guys think. This is the front edge of the hood and the top. All of the other parts were ok.

Got her set back on the frame today. Installing the new body bushings. Having a little trouble with the body bolts behind the seats to line up. All the others are in just fine. Not sure what is going on there. Got aggravated and left it sitting there. Will go back when I clear my head. Anyway I’m glad she is back on. One step closer to going to the painter.
