I saw Craftsman is now at Lowe's, I guess Sears lost its franchise.

Bought a similar setup from Depot in their brand a couple of years ago for about 99 all in I think. Normally 125-150, they usually have a sale at the end of the year on stuff like that.
But I'd buy the Craftsman stuff anyway if I didn't already have the Ridgid.

Then again, it's quite possible that TheLimeRanger was speaking of the background in the ad, not the subject thereof...;)

that Bronco looks odd to me, I'd at least expect to see an oil pan :p

At least they were smart enough to use a Bronco instead of a heep:-X

Stanley Black and Decker did buy the Craftsman brand last year. Have to give them credit for bringing some of the hand tool manufacturing back to the US too!

Cool ad. I have always loved Craftsman tools and boxes and have been following the downfall of Sears in the news. While they have made their missteps, it is sad to see that Sears is essentially being "parted out" by a venture capitalist. After Craftsman and Kenmore, not much of value will be left.

yes surprised they kept the doors open this long, parking lots of Sears around here were always near empty...the Sears Automotive where I bought my last battery is now an Outback %)

also surprised they did not keep those brands for online retail, but I guess it did not make $$$$$ sense
