My dad raced this '70 from the early 80s until the early 90s in the now defunct class 4. The thread about where you learned to wrench got me thinking about it again, so I thought I'd throw these up. This is where my love of all things Ford and Broncos especially, comes from.
Suspension wasn't very advanced back then, Moog progressive f-150 coils up front and re-arched stock leaves in the back with 3 remote reservoir fox shocks at each wheel. Somehow he was able to get 400 horsepower from a set of '69 351w heads. The rear end was one of those one piece forged '57 housings with summers brothers axles.
As an aside we found out a couple of months ago that the guy who bought it about 13 years ago totaled it last year in Canada.

The rest are all from a race in Millican (Bend), OR in '86.
