I found this radiator for a buddy here while back. It is an all alum. direct replacement for the V8's. He decided not to buy it and fix his, so I purchased one and it looks surprisingly good! I put it in today. It took all of 15 minutes to install. It fit perfect and it works great so far. I idled it for a half hour, never heated up. I drove it around for fifteen minutes or so in 1st, then I drove it at highway speed for a half hour to the store and back and it never heated up. It stayed right on 180 no matter what i did to it.

I purchased it from: http://www.partstrain.com/

The info is: 1968 - 1977 Ford Bronco Silla Radiator Radiator Price: $102.60 Qty: 1 Part #: SILLA0521AA

I don't really like the fact is is manufactured in China, but most everything seems to be going that way. The quality is not bad and for $102 and I received it in two days! I just figure if anyone needs a cheapo radiator, they might be interested.;D

For a $102.60?

That may be worth it for an aluminum radiator.. And if it lasts longer than the RD one, it will be better yet.................

Do you guys think it would cool a 351W?

Don't know for sure about a 351, but it sure is doing a better job on my 302 than my stock radiator was doing. Drove for about an hour this evening and could not get it past 180 no matter what I did. And that is without the shroud. Have not put it back on yet.

Oh yea I forgot it has the automatic trans. cooler built in also. I don't need it with my NP 435, but was thinking about running my power steering/hydro boost return through it. Anyone got an opinion about that? I was thinking that the PS fluid might take away some of the engine cooling capacity or that it might not cool the PS fluid cool enough? Right now I have an aux cooler for the PS in front of the radiator.

My company is sourcing out of China, not really bad, just watch the Bronco for signs of lead poisoning...;D

All kidding aside, that is a great price.

When you say "direct fit" do you mean that it fit using all existing stock hardware or did you have to make any modifications? That looks like a great deal. More than $500 for the RD version with tranny cooler. Is the RD also a 2 row radiator??

Thanks.

It fits right into the stock brackets, no new brackets needed and from what I have heard the rubber bushed mounts are better with the aluminum to reduce vibration.

If fit perfect using the stock hardware. Stock bolts in stock holes. Everything fit just like the factory unit I removed. Only took about 15 minutes to install.

Mine came today. Looks pretty good to me. For $125.00,(Tax, shipping, handling) this seems like a great deal. Where did you think it was made? I couldn't get my 35+ year old radiator tuned up for that. Plus it has a tranny cooler, which is a bonus since I'm converting from man. to auto. The only thing I don't see, It doesn't have the ribs that fit into the mounts. You just set the welds from the tanks onto the rubber mounts. No big thing. I like it.
Thanks Buldozer.
