OK guys, I really don't want to do this, but I just don't have the time or money for this project right now. I really like this Bronco and if it does sell, I hope whoever gets it keeps it uncut and stock.
It is a 1975 Bronco 302 V8 with an automatic transmission. It has power steering, and drum brakes all the way around. There is very little rust, only a little around the front corners of the front floor pans and minor surface rust around the drip rails on the top. There is no rust around the doors, inner fender walls, rocker panels or tailgate. The interior is in pretty good shape. The seats will need to be recovered. The radio doesn't work, it's just a dummy stock faceplate without the actual radio. A PO glued the knobs so they won't turn. I have another stock radio, but you will need to find some replacement knobs.
I installed new Wild Horses stock springs, new shocks, new spark plugs and wires. I also replaced some of the emissions parts because they were bad. I think they are called the exhaust check valves or something. There is vibration coming from the rear axle area upon deceleration. I think there is a pinion bearing that needs to be replaced. I have a rear axle rebuild kit that the PO gave me. Also, I believe that the front left wheel bearing needs to be replaced. I can feel some resistance when I try to rotate the wheel by hand.
This truck is really solid and I believe it is great candidate for a full restoration or just to fix a few minor things and drive it as it is. The body and paint are in great condition with the exception of some bondo work that was done to both rear quarters. You can kind of see where the bondo cracked and chipped away in the pics.
I bought this Bronco from a guy in southern Colorado (Pueblo), who bought it from a guy up here near Chicago, who got it from somewhere down south in Arkansas I think. This Bronco was originally delivered to New Orleans. So other than the short time it spent up here, it probably didn't see too much snow or salt. I never drove it in the snow.
There are pics in my gallery and also at this thread: (the pics in this thread are with the old springs) http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114180
If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will answer them as honestly and accurately as I can.
Thank You,
Carl
