1969 bronco rebuild (Gauges wired, Steering Install)

Well started my first bronco resto and just thought I would post a few photos.
Just started to take her apart and everything is going very good so far

I really enjoy the bronco builds that are on classicbroncos and why not share my build with you guys because I am going to need all the help I can get.

I picked up my Bronco from lower Michigan it was from Colorado and in very good condition, a coworker of mine helped trailer it back to Green Bay Wisconsin where it is today. The bronco is a 1969 model 3-speed dana 30 9inch small bearing 170 inline six. The bronco came with a factory bulkhead and full top plus a half cab.. that is about it and where I begin.

Here the kids show dad how easy it is to remove body panels, and the vent intake passenger side seeds sand and dirt underneath no rust

Yes, looks like a very nice & solid runner. What did you have to give for it ? If I knew how to post up pics, I would post a couple of my 69 stocker.

Was working on my 69 Bronco this weekend and thing are not going quite as good. Almost every bolt on the DS fender had to be cut off. I guess WD40 does not work all the time.

Thats what I was thinking but perhaps he just wants to make sure that there is no rust in hidden places and to re-align body panels for a better fit.

or maybe he is sicker than all of us.

1969 Bronco

Thanks everyone, I know what you guys are thinking why? Well the bronco does need some work the body is in good shape, but brake lines surface rust in places brakes leaf springs drive train. I paid 8500 to me it was worth it on the high side but I had to have it.

I want to go with 3.5 inch lift, auto, disk brakes ,v8,dana44 hd9inch rear, paint
undercoating, sick hey.

yes is it going to be cut? what tire size are you looking at this can mean alot of things. my 69 was uncut with 33's and now it's wwwwaaaaayyy cut and on 37's

Nice lookin' EB there...my vote (if you care) is to leave it uncut & keep the half cab....have fun & keep the pics coming!

1969 Bronco

I have not ruled out cutting it. This is my third bronco and all were uncut but I always wanted to have a cut bronco lifted with all the goodies. Here is a photo of my 72. I like the interior on the 72 and will go with this type of look but color will be different.

carpet

The carpet is like stock rust orange, the carpet mats were made custom also the T-shift was a single piece custom over carpet if I remember correctly.

1969 rebuild

Here are my bolts and small parts that have come off my bronco, I am putting them in ziplock bags and labeling them and keeping in plastic container. I also labeled my wiring harness if I reuse it just hope it helps me at some point. I know this is boring stuff but from what I read they say to do this. Because I know I won't remember.
