About to begin the resto on our 1967 Sport. Just brought to the shop this morning. I have decided on Holly green. The project name refers to my high school. As I have chosen to paint her green, the colors will be my high schools colors, thus the project name. Holly Green body, white top and wheels (factory 16s I believe). The project is a gift from my father in law who found her on a hillside in upscale Orinda. She has some interesting stories as she rode the Yukon back when she was new (rock cracked windshield as a reminder). I plan to keep her as original as possible. Any thoughts are appreciated

Wow no real rust issues? I wouldnt know what to do with myself if I got a bronco with no rust!! Maybe I could finish one if it didnt have any rust!!! Good luck with the project and keeping it stock will be cool.

Very cool. Seeing the photo of it sitting there all dirty, I would not think that it was actually tan under all the dirt.

There was Lichen all over it. My father in law was doing meal delivery for a charity he works for and made an offer to the lady. I wont say how much. suffice to say the U13 poster paid only slightly less. Her son said it had been parked since the old man couldn't operate the steering anymore. Stopped driving it in 1993 or 1994. He passed on and there it remained. PO had taken it up to Alaska in 1968 and while on the trip wrote an article about the trip. I am hoping to find the article to go with the vehicle.

Sounds like an article I've read in an old Four Wheeler magazine. I'll see if I can find it.

I have been driving it for a year. I picked it up in march of 08. I am just getting started with the teardown for the restoration.
