• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Basic specs:
'77 Ranger, 302 V8, C4 auto, power steering, power disc brakes, and original dealer installed air.

New paint, Ranger decals, tires, interior, etc. Rebuilt and fully detailed motor and trans (down to 100% authentic reproductions of the original rubber quality stamps). Personally guaranteed not to disappoint.

This is seriously one of the nicest to be found and unlike many descriptions we all too often read, this one has the documentation and provenance to back that bold statement up: Antique Automobile Club of America judged "Senior" (I'm not aware of any other Early Broncos except our red 66 Roadster that have achieved this so far. It is now eligible for AACA "Grand National" judging which we will likely do in 2010 if we keep it), displayed feature vehicle in the main lobby at the Headquarters of Ford Motor Company over the winter of 06-07, numerous awards from major shows like the Carlisle All-Ford Nationals. Featured in multiple magazine articles (including a British collector magazine shown in pics below). Previous AutoKrafters catalog cover vehicle, etc.

It's also a great Bronco to drive as well! We take it on club cruises often and plan to have it on the MEB Fall Cruise in Southern Maryland next month.

If you are looking for asuper clean stock restoration that is truly complete and needs nothing, this might just be the one for you. Rebuilt engine and transmission only have a couple thousand miles on them (you will not find a cleaner, more orginal looking EB engine bay). New interior using original factory materials (hand made by a well known automotive restoration upholstery shop, not pre-made covers and carpet kits that sort-of fit, this alone cost over $3K), new paint and Ranger decals applied about 5 years ago and look like they were finished just last week.

We've had this Bronco for over 10 years and are in the middle of a complete restoration of a 67 halfcab now. I'd like to restore a Stroppe Baja after that to replace the 77 Ranger as the U15 wagon in the "trifecta" collection we've been working towards. We've enjoyed this one quite a bit and would like to see someone else have fun with it as we move on to another project to restore.

If this may be the type of Bronco that interests you, please contact me at drew@earlybroncos.com

Thanks for the compliment.

Yes, our original goal with to have the first and last years; a plain jane simple 66 Roadter with a 6 cyl, and a fully loaded 77 Ranger with the V8. Now that we've "been there, done that" for a few years, we've upped the annty with the halfcab and have out sights on a future Baja project.

Now we are working on a 67 289 halfcab for my mother that will round out the body styles.

I'd love to keep it, but if we're going to ever do a Baja in the future, I just can't see us adding a 4th super stocker as they don't really get used enough as is it with just the two we have now! I've also got my trail rig and modified street rig to get back together as well, so something has to go and we've had lots of fun and great experiances as a result of owning this 77 Ranger.

I'd love to see someone who can truly appreaciate and enjoy an exceptionally special vehicle like this have just as much fun with it over the next decade as we have over the past 10+ years.

I saw your bronco at the 40th. anv. Out here in Calif. Very nice, very clean, Have to say, clean'est I've seen. Good luck! If I had the money I'd have it in my garage. Dan

It's so beautiful!
Wish I had the funds and room for it! A museum quality showpiece!

Wow! Surprised to see this listed, but understand. Guys, I've seen it in person, as many others have, and this is truly as nice as advertised. A museum quality showpiece, as Mark suggested.

Barrett-Jackson?

that is what i was thinking

Yes, we have too, but my dad is skeered!;D

There is a good chance it would bring really good money, but threre is always the risk that the right two buyers are not in the room that day. Then there is the several $K in costs to get it to the auction and pay the fees involved.

We've talked about running it through BJ or R&M for a few years now, but he does not want to take the risk and would rather set a firm, but very fair, price on it according to what we believe it is actually worth. This is not an inflated show or auction price, and not a divorce sale, deal of the decade price. The way I see it, this is likely one of the finest stock Broncos to be found anywhere, and it is priced less than a new F-350 or many other cars that can be found on a lot in nearly every town across the country. Let alone that the value of those will drop instantly and a classic like this will only increase. For someone wanting a fun investment-grade Bronco that they do not need to do anything to except enjoy, this might be the ticket.

I think that to the right buyer (or buyers in an auction setting), it could bring a good bit more. We know what it would cost someone to have one restored to this level, and know that they'd have this much or more in it as we've seen many times on various other restorations/builds of Broncos and other classics.

Are you kidding, I can't get rid of that one! I will say that I've had more fun per dollar with Iron Bear than any of our other Broncos! If I got rid of Iron Bear my nephew would be crushed! He's gonna learn to wheel by bashing that one off trees someday!

Iron Bear is also part of my other collection stratagy, to have one of the cleanest original Broncos, and well as one of the most fun, low $, trail capable, fun beaters. It has served me well so far!

Although, after watching BroncoLou at the Line Mountain race several weeks ago, I'm thinking some mods may be in order for Iron Bear (low $ of course!) so I can race it up there!;D

Hey Drew, I'm with your Dad!!! Folks have pimped me to take the "Crazy Horse" to BJ. When you study all the costs and the risks... plus you need to know that "game", I'll keep it in the basement for a while!!

As for your 77', that is a slick rig!! I have done an original resto on a plain jane 74' and your price is very reasonable, if not low, for a 77" Ranger!!!

Good luck with it!!!

Drew,
Beautiful rig and fantastic restoration-attention to detail. My favorite shot you posted is the bottom right in # one :) Excellent "load of ebs"!! It was a great day when your Dad brought it down for its Senior judging and both earned that rating. I must say, of the rigs posted here over the past several years, finally, an over-the-top rig with a realistic price.
Good luck with the sale,
Karl

Being from Canada there aren't too many around here. I remember seeing this rig at Carlisle. It was my fiirst trip down there. My wife turn to me and said "There's one" I turned and saw this rig. I emmediately stopped Drew in his tracks and took a picture.
Bronchitis Ranger is very clean and tight and was an inspiration for my 73 Ranger.
Beautiful Ranger.

Good luck with the sale Drew.
