Basic specs:
'77 Ranger, 302 V8, C4 auto, power steering, power disc brakes, and original dealer installed air.
New paint, Ranger decals, tires, interior, etc. Rebuilt and fully detailed motor and trans (down to 100% authentic reproductions of the original rubber quality stamps). Personally guaranteed not to disappoint.
This is seriously one of the nicest to be found and unlike many descriptions we all too often read, this one has the documentation and provenance to back that bold statement up: Antique Automobile Club of America judged "Senior" (I'm not aware of any other Early Broncos except our red 66 Roadster that have achieved this so far. It is now eligible for AACA "Grand National" judging which we will likely do in 2010 if we keep it), displayed feature vehicle in the main lobby at the Headquarters of Ford Motor Company over the winter of 06-07, numerous awards from major shows like the Carlisle All-Ford Nationals. Featured in multiple magazine articles (including a British collector magazine shown in pics below). Previous AutoKrafters catalog cover vehicle, etc.
It's also a great Bronco to drive as well! We take it on club cruises often and plan to have it on the MEB Fall Cruise in Southern Maryland next month.
If you are looking for asuper clean stock restoration that is truly complete and needs nothing, this might just be the one for you. Rebuilt engine and transmission only have a couple thousand miles on them (you will not find a cleaner, more orginal looking EB engine bay). New interior using original factory materials (hand made by a well known automotive restoration upholstery shop, not pre-made covers and carpet kits that sort-of fit, this alone cost over $3K), new paint and Ranger decals applied about 5 years ago and look like they were finished just last week.
We've had this Bronco for over 10 years and are in the middle of a complete restoration of a 67 halfcab now. I'd like to restore a Stroppe Baja after that to replace the 77 Ranger as the U15 wagon in the "trifecta" collection we've been working towards. We've enjoyed this one quite a bit and would like to see someone else have fun with it as we move on to another project to restore.
If this may be the type of Bronco that interests you, please contact me at drew@earlybroncos.com
